The Drezner Family Scholarship Fund supports students at Monterey Peninsula College and Hartnell College planning to transfer into a four-year college or university in order to complete their bachelor's degree. The scholarship may be renewable for a second year. Competitive awardees are students dedicated to making a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond. The sponsor is looking for individuals who are passionate about living a life of purpose and who demonstrate focus, determination, and resilience in their efforts to create a better world. Students committed to careers in various fields are encouraged to apply: including but not limited to health and human services, education and social science fields, e.g., social work, public health, medicine, nursing, psychology, teaching, political science, social justice & law, public administration; natural and earth sciences, e.g. scientific and medical research, environmental science and conservation, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture and quality control; STEM fields and communications, media studies and journalism. The applicant must currently be registered as a student at either Hartnell College or Monterey Peninsula College, and planning to enroll at a four-year college or university in the next academic year.
